Oracle OpenWorld 2012 Schedule

Then my schedule is just about ready for Oracle OpenWorld in San Fransisco this fall. I’ve booked several sessions with Tom Kyte, and other Oracle “heroes” such as Jonathan Lewis, Cary Millsap, Christian Antognini, Chris Lawson, Graham Wood and many more.

In addition to the sessions I just mentions, I’m also looking forward to the following sessions:

  • Look Inside the Locking Mechanism (Liron Armitzi)
  • Mutexes in Oracle Database 11g Release 2 (11.2)  (Andrey Nikolaev)
  • Ten Surprising Performance Tactics (Chris Lawson)
  • Truss, pstack, pmap, and more (Riyaj Shamsudeen)
  • Extreme Online Transaction Processing with Oracle PL/SQL (Alex De Vergori)

I also noticed that Pearl Jam is on for the Oracle Appreciation Event this year. I’ve never seen them live before and really look forward to the event. If you’re not registered for the Oracle OpenWorld yet it’s still time to join.
