Wednesday, the 2nd of November, the Oracle UserGroup in Bergen finally started up again. I can not remember when the last time there where any activity in the Oracle Usergroup in Bergen. But finally I´s alive again! It could definitly have been more people joining this first seminar (wake up all oracle geeks in Bergen … this is good stuff!), but all of us that showed up really enjoyed the happening. This includes the coffee and the caces, as well as the tapas and the 3 presentations:
– News from Oracle OpenWorld with inge Os (Oracle Norge)
– Implementing BI w/Hans Frode Andersen (Sysco AS)
– Oracle Exadata w/Audun Hoff (Oracle Norge)
In good old fashion OUGN tradition there was plenty of free beer and drinks (sponsored by Sysco) for those taking the bus back home. I was sticking to the non-alcoholic stuff this night, but next time I´ll leave the car at home. A great thank you to the people starting up these activities again. I´m allreaddy looking forward to the next OUGN meeting in Bergen.
